Delila Agusta Durfee Williams Jones was born 28 January 1869 in Wellsville, Utah, daughter of Nephi and Amanda Thomas Durfee. Delila married Charles Gilbert Williams on 24 April 1889, and they worked in a logging camp in the Uintah Mountains until after their second child, LaVon, was born. They became the parents of three children. At age thirty-one, she was left a widow. Delila married Walter W. Jones on 6 November 1918.
