Dell Ray Ellis, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home, January 24, 1995. Born July 6, 1927 to Nephi and Annie Ellis in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Married Harriet Ivy, March 25, 1950 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, March 18, 1977. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren, ham radios, music and computers. Served as a High Priest and veil worker in the Jordan River Temple. Veteran World War II. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Survived by his wife; children, Robert (Lynette), Mark (Debi), Douglas (Christy), Cheryl (Vernon); 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Dan. Preceded in death by his parents, son, Richard (Shaun), granddaughter, Sara. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 11 a.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, where family and friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment will immediately follow services at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd.
