Dominic James Flowers was described as a "little shining star", a bright, engaging boy adored by his peers... Dominic lived with his mother, Kim, and father, James, and had two older half-brothers – one from each parent. He was in Year 4 at the Holy Cross Catholic primary school in Henderson, and was going to take part in that year's production, Aladdin, as a drummer in a band. He'd been to rehearsals for the show during the break between terms two and three... Dominic died on Friday July 17, 2009, killed by his mother, who took her own life later the same day.
