!Feb 1676/77: "and be it further enacted by this present grand assembly and by the authority thereof, and it is hereby enacted, that Richard Tomson and Dominick Rice, and either of them doe upon their bended knees, with ropes about their necks, acknowledge their treasons and rebellions in Northumberland county court, and be comitted to safe prison untill they shall procure good security for their future good behaviour."
