About Don S Page
Don was born in Benton Twp. Eaton Co, the son of Ray and Mary (Smith) Page He was employed by Oldsmobile for 30 yrs. in addition to serving in the Army in Europe and was then recalled to serve in Korea in 1950 where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. He was also and avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed carpentry work. He served as a Potterville MI City Council Member and was a police officer for Potterville and Benton twp. Don was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Criminal and traffic enforcement from the MIchigan State Police.
Don is survived by his wife of 57 yrs Elaine (Sprague), daughters, Chris Miller of Edgewater, FL, Cindy Page and Peggy (Michael) Whitson, both of Charlotte MI; 5 grandchildren, Shani, Angel, Harvest, Autumn and Forest; 4 great-grandchikldren, Haven, Sage, Rhyan and Ruby; brothers, Jack (Betty) Page of Charlotte, Ernest (Eloise) Page of Yerington, Nevada, Roger (Beth) Page of Olivet MI, Dennis (Joyce) Page of Denton Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was proceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Ray Page Jr,and Robert Page; and 2 sisters, Beryle Field and Mary Lou Whitney.
Services will be held Jan 9 2008 at the Ainger Bible Church.
