

Donald Barr (b. August 8, 1921, Manhattan, New York – d. February 5, 2004, Langhorne, Pennsylvania) was a US educator and author, who taught English at Columbia University, was headmaster at the Dalton School in New York City (1964–74), the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY, and was the author of two science fiction novels.[1] He initiated the Columbia University Science Honors Program in 1958 and was its director until 1964. He also worked as a book reviewer for The New York Times.
