Fraser, Donald Vincent Jr. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died Mon., July 23, 2007 at the age of 81, peacefully at home. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Luechtefeld Fraser; dear father of Donald Fraser, Victoria Fraser (Steven Miller), John Fraser (Lynette), and the late Donald Vincent Fraser, III; loving grandfather of Rebecca, Jacob and Hallie Miller; cherished brother of Margaret Fraser DeBlieux (the late Charles), Alice Webb (Jack), David Fraser, and Daniel Fraser (Norma); fond brother-in-law of Victor Luechtefeld, Jr. (Binny) and Pete Scheer (Art); dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, great-uncle, cousin and friend to all. Mr. Fraser was born and raised in St. Louis. He attended Barat Hall, St. Louis University High School and St. Louis University where he received his Bachelor's and Law degrees. He practiced law in St. Louis for over 50 years. He was a member of the St. Louis, Missouri and American Bar Associations. He was an active parishioner at Holy Redeemer Church in Webster Groves where he was a lector. He was a tutor in the Boosters Program and an Election Supervisor. Mr. Fraser proudly served in the US Army during WW II in the Philippines and Japan. He loved traveling, playing tennis and bridge, fishing, hunting, skeet and trap shooting, and telling stories.Services: Visitation and funeral Mass will be held Fri., July 27 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Lockwood at Joy. Visitation at 9 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Holy Redeemer School or a charity of your choice appreciated.
