Donald Abraham Herr

Donald A. Herr, 75, Gladstone, MO, passed away September 4, 1996, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, at St. Charles Catholic Church; burial in Resurrection North Cemetery. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Friday, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, where the Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Human Life International.

Mr. Herr was born February 19, 1921, in Barto, PA. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, and I.A.M. Local 1650 for 50 years. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus; past president of St. Vincent DePaul; and a member of the Order of St. Benedict Oblate. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Herr. Mr.

Herr is survived by his wife, Lillian Herr, of the home; sons, Donald S. Herr, Nebraska City, NE, John R. Herr, Scottsdale, AZ, and Robert J. Herr, Kansas City, MO; daughters, Lillian M. Elsey, Los Angeles, CA, Beatrice A. Gallamore, Pleasant Valley, MO, and Margaret T. Olsen, Salmon, IN; brother, Henry S. Herr, Jacksonville, FL; sister, Sister Mary Herr, Rainier, MD; 26 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
