Funeral Services Held For Donalda N Dixon

Funeral services for Mrs Donalda Nichols Dixon, age 43, who died at the Terry Hospital on June 27 after being bedridden with cancer for the past seen months, were held at the Sacred Heart church in Terry Thursday morning with Rev Bernard Giesen as pastor. Rosary was held at the church Tuesday evening.
Donalda Nichols Dixon was born in Fallon on July 30, 1907 to Sol and Jeannette McDougald Nichols. She attended the Fallon grade school, Terry high school and Mies City business school. She remained in Fallon with her parents until 1925 when she was united in marriage to George Eli Dixon in Decautur IL, on December 3.
She made her home in Decautur with her husband for about a year and a half when they returned to Fallon. They moved to Miles City in 1932 and to Terry in 1934. Nine children wee born of this union, one daughter dying at birth.
Mrs Dixon is survived by her husband and; father, Sol Nichols; three daughters, Mrs Vera Cole, Mrs Jean Cole and Margret Anne; and five sons, Stephen Walter, Donald George, Lorin Lou, Larence Dale, and James Nichols.
Interment was made in the Terry cemetery with Lester Jens, Raymond Hendrickson, Harry Peabody, Clarence Starr, Robert Gamber and L R McLean as pallbearers.
