Doris Ethel Petzold

Doris E. Petzold, 92, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2005, after a long illness. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 15, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road.

Doris was born July 17, 1913, in Drexel, MO, and had lived in Kansas City for most of her life. She volunteered at various places, including Nelson Atkins Art Museum. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joe Miller Petzold 1913-2003.

Doris is survived by sons, Fred Petzold of Topeka, and Phil Petzold and wife, Kris, of Overland Park; grandsons, Scott Petzold of Prairie Village, KS, Ryan and Patsy Petzold of Olathe, KS, and Eric Petzold of Golden, CO; great grandson, Will Petzold of Olathe, KS. She is also survived by sister, Georgia Doolittle.
