Dorothea (Dora) Christina Carstens Schonegevel MOLLETT, was baptized on 29th October 1865 in Durbanville and died on 1st December 1942 on Doornboom Farm, Pietersburg. She is buried in the family graveyard on the farm. She married James John RAWE on the 7th May 1884 in Pretoria. He was born on 7th May 1856 in Brighton, UK, and died on 24th November 1934 in the Elim Hospital, Klein Spelonken. He is buried in the family graveyard on Doornboom farm.

John and his wife Dora settled at Doornboom in the Groot Spelonken area of the Soutpansberg District before the Anglo Boer War. As devout members of the Anglican Church they established the Evans Memorial Church after the death of their son-in-law Rev. R.L Evans.

Ethel Maud RAWE, was born on 12/02/1891 in Klipdam, Pietersburg. She married William CHALMERS. e1: William (Bill) CHALMERS. He was born on 19/04/1936 and died on 12/04/2010. William was a Rhodes Scholar and studied at St Andrew's College, Grahamstown and at Trinity College, Oxford University in 1956 .After teaching Classics at St Andrew's College in South Africa for 14 years, Bill Chalmers became actively involved in the South African politico-religious debate, and was known for his Radio Chaplain and Cross Questions 15 television discussion programme. He also pursued his passion for art, and was commissioned to paint 'The Stations of the Cross' which now hangs in the old Settler Church of St John's in Bathurst, South Africa, where he served as lay minister. d5. Charles Albert RAWE, was born on 29/12/1895 on Doornboom, Pietersburg and died in March 1984. He married Kate CHATTERTON. d6. Daisy Dorothy RAWE was born on 25/09/1897 in Pietersburg. She married Arthur Bertram LAW. He was born about 1893 and died in 1954. d7: Edith May RAWE, was born on 25/07/1899 on Doornboom farm, Pietersburg, and died on 3/06/1975. She married Francois Nicolas (Frank) JOUBERT. He was born in about 1895. Francois was a teacher at Munnik and subsequently a farmer at Soekmekaar. He was the brother of Lt Joubert, the pilot of a military airplane out of which a bomb fell by accident, on 28 May 1924, into a crowd of spectators during a weapons show at Kuruman, killing four and injuring 32. d8:Victor RAWE, was born on 13/03/1902 on Doornboom farm, Pietersburg and died on 28/12/1972 in Tzaneen. He married Alice Elizabeth Sophia NAUDE. She died in 1969. e1: Peggy RAWE. She married OLIVIER, a treasurer of Tzaneen Municipality.
