She was born at Monroe, Mich., May 6, 1897, and lived there until 19 08. With the family she came to Burlington, Wis., and in July, 1912, to Ya kima. Here she was graduated from the high school with the class of 191 5. On June 28, 1918, she became the bride of M. C. Gansen, an electrical c ontractor at Tacoma, and with him planned and helped establish their ho me there at Regents park. Seeking health, she returned to Yakima last Janu ary. She is mourned by her husband, a son, Harold Frank, and the followi ng brothers and sisters: Frederic, at Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mrs. Marie Galleh er at Kennewick; Hans at Oxnard, Cal., and Anna, Alma, Paul and Emma at ho me. Yakima Herald, June 3, 1923: Mrs. Dorothea Gansen
At the home of her parents, Rev. and Mrs. F. Soll, Mrs. Dorothea Gansen died peacefully Saturday morning after a long illness caused by peritonitis. She was born at Monroe, Mich., May 6, 1897, and lived there until 1908. With the family she came to Burlington, Wis., and in July, 1912, to Yakima. Here she was graduated from the high school with the class of 1915. On June 28, 1918, she became the bride of M. C. Gansen, an electrical contractor at Tacoma, and with him planned and helped establish their home there at Regents park. Seeking health, she returned to Yakima last January.
She is mourned by her husband, a son, Harold Frank, and the following brothers and sisters: Frederic, at Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mrs. Marie Galleher at Kennewick; Hans at Oxnard, Cal., and Anna, Alma, Paul and Emma at home. The funeral will be held from Grace Evangelical Lutheran church at 2:30 on Tuesday afternoon.[Klemmer Soll.FTW]
