Daughter of Bertha Louise Gray and Paul Eckert (buried in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland OH) she married in 1927, at Stanford University, to Paul Cannell Davis. Their children were Richard Alan, Joan Quiggin and Timothy Cannell. She was a school teacher for 27 years and lived with her family in Bakersfield CA, Mansfield OH, Schnectady NY, Shaker Heights OH, Medina OH, New Haven CT and La Jolla CA. With her husband, Paul, she enjoyed traveling to most of the USA, China, Europe and as far as Saint Petersburg, Russia.
