About Dorothy Rice
According to Mosely (2003), Dorothy (d. 06 Nov 1687), is the daughter of Sir William Vaughan of Tor-y-Coed, Carmarthenshire, Wales. She apparently married twice.
Marriage m.1 (aft. 1664 as second wife) Robert Brandling of Leathley, Yorkshire (b. c. 1620; will: 01 Aug 1669). No known issue.[1]
m.2 (c. 1673) Walter Rice, son of Henry Rice and Margaret Lewis.

Notes
Lundy (2010), citing Moseley (2003), doesn't name the parents or otherwise clarify the exact identity of this Brandling.[1] But Harwood (1902), citing Dugdale, seems to. He calls Dorothy the "daughter of Lady Vaughan." However, neither Dugdale nor Lundy (2010) record any children from this marriage.
