About Doyle Arendall
Doyle E. Arendall was a member of the 1st Provisional Demilitarized Zone Police Company in Korea in 1954. This was an elite company within the First Marine Division, charged with the enforcement of the rules of the armistice agreement which took effect in July 1953.
In the course of his duties, Doyle was killed when a concealed mine, emplaced along the southern limit of the demilitarized zone, was tripped. The date of his death was October 26, 1954.
