

Dr. Benjamin, was born at Stratford in 1672. In 1693 he married Elizabeth Andrews. She was born in 1674 and died' April 27th, 1732. She was daughter of Samuel Andrews and Elizabeth (Peck) Andrews, of New Haven, who were married in 1661. Samuel Andrews was born in England in 1632. He was a son of William Andrews of Hampsworth, England, who came to America in the ship James" in 1635. He landed in Boston and was freeman there the same year. Was at New Haven with Eaton and Rev. John Daven- port. His first wife's name is not known; she was the mother of all his children. His second wife was Anna, widow of William Gibbons, colonial secretary in 1657. William Andrews died in 1676 at East Haven. Samuel Andrews took the oath of fidelity in 1654, and died in 1704. His wife, Elizabeth Peck, was daughter of Deacon William Peck of New Haven, who was born in London, England in 1601 and was a merchant there. He was a representative to the General Assembly in New Haven in 1646. He held many positions of trust and was an influential citizen of New Haven. Dr. Benjamin Hull was a prominent physician in Walling- ford, and died there March 3rd, 1741. His wife died 1732.

Dr. Benjamin Hull, 1672-1741, of Stratford and Wallingford, Conn., son of (3) Dr. John and Mary Jones Hull, was married in 1693 to Elizabeth Andrews, 1674-1732, daughter of Samuel Andrews and his wife Elizabeth Peck. Both the Andrews and Peck families hold prominent places in the early history of New England.
