It was reported here that this Charles was born in Franklin in 1799, but Franklin was not established until the 1830s.

This Charles' date of death is the same as that of his wife, but this Charles reportedly died in Monroe County while his wife reportedly died at Monroe in Overton County. If they died on the same day at locations involving the name Monroe, it is more likely that they died at the same location. Further research is warranted.

This Charles resembles Dr. Charles Addison Riggs (the other reported father of John Martin Van Buren Riggs). Are they the same person? Further research is warranted.

John Martin Van Buren Riggs is his son.

State VS Addison Rigg (No 1538) Addison Rigg was ordered to pay Milly Paine $24 for the first year then $18 for the next and the third year it was to be $12  starting on 4 Feb 1826.
