

Had a medical practice in PARIS, France. In 1793, during the REIGN OF TERROR, he was arrested, but soon afterwards a permit was given to him to return to IRELAND...after his release, he went to Chatham, KENT, England where SIR MAURICE CHARLES O'CONNELL was in charge of the 80th British Regiment. There, in 1803 Dr. Geoffrey met and married Elizabeth Ross. They returned to Hillgrove, Kerry where their three children were born.
He was a kinsman of Daniel O' Connell and Count Daniel Charles O' Connell.
After Dr. Geoffrey's death, Elizabeth and her three children emigrated to South Africa.
