Hugo Stransky was born on 29.12. 1876 in Ledetsch (his parents Issac, Lehrer in Rente and Theresia were residents of Prague at the time of his graduation) and graduated at the Deutsche Medizinische Fakultät in Prag in 1901; in 1901 he moved from Prague to Brno, where he worked as ophthalmologist and internist and was listed in medical registries till 1938.
