About Dr. jur. Alfred Apfel

cf.: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Apfel

Alfred Apfel died of a heart attack, coronary thrombosis, at the American Consulate in Marseilles, France while waiting in the lobby for his papers for the trip to the United States. Although the Nazis were after him, he traveled with the help of the French underground, his death was not directly related to the Nazis, although the strain of fleeing and hiding probably contributed a strain on his heart.
