1785: Drury signed a petition to form Russell Co.
Drury died c1797 because in that year Drury's heirs sold 140 acres of land to Jesse Vermillion. Children are all listed on the deed. See Source: Heirs of Drury Puckett
Drury can be found in Augusta Co., Washington Co. and Russell Co., but it is all the same 200 acres, only the county boundaries changed. This property is now in Dickenson Co.
He was a sergeant in the Revolutionary War and received a 200-acre grant for his services.
