Obituary: The Charleston Daily Mail, Wednesday, March 17, 1948 Page 3:

"Fox Services Set For Sutton Friday- The body of Earl F. Fox of Shreveport, La., who died there Sunday, will arrive in Charleston Wednesday at 11:35 p. m. and will be taken to the Wilson mortuary. It will lie in state there from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Thursday, after which the body will be taken to the Berry mortuary at Sutton. Funeral services will be held at the Berry chapel Friday at 10:30 a. m. Burial will follow in Fox cemetery at Glendon.

Mr. Fox was a brother of Judge Fred L. Fox of the state supreme court of appeals."
