Rev. Ebenezer Pemberton: Graduated from Harvard University, 1691. Became the sole pastor in 1707 of the Old South Church-Boston founded by his father. Overseer of Harvard (Tutor/Librarian 1707-1717). 1717 elected Fellow @ Harvard
After his death a number of occasional sermons and discourses were published, "A Brief Account of the Province of Massachusetts Bay". This was the first volume of sermons published in America.
