Marriage Announcement:
Ballou — Boynton.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jamin Ballou of Bristol was the scene of a very pleasant and joyous occasion March 25, when Edgar Ballou and Blanche Boynton were married. The parlor was tastefully trimmed with balsam and stars and stripes. A beautiful wedding bell, made by Mrs Drake., a sister of the bride, hung on one corner under which the bride and groom stood, attended by Carl Boynton, brother of the bride, and Florence Ballou, sister of the groom. In the presence of about thirty relatives the Rev. W.E. Kirkpatrick performed the ceremony with the ring service.
The groom is one of Bristol's popular young men. Mrs. Ballou is an Ashland girl and is a favorite with all who know her. An oyster supper followed the wedding, and in the evening some 75 friends called to congratulate and leave some useful presents, of which there was a long and valued list.
The Ashland Citizen, April 2, 1908.
