Edith was the first wife of Chesley Gordon Davis and the mother of his first 6 children. Secondly, Chesley married her sister, Cora Davis on. April 4, 1906 and they had 2 more daughters, so Cora raised all 8 children. Edith and Cora were the daughters of Martin Van Buren Davis 1840-1927 and Pedora Davis Bonnell 1846-1921. Chesley married a third time.
