Edith L. Kennedy

Edith L. Kennedy, 87, of East Hartford passed away on April 9, 2012 at Riverside Care Center. She was the daughter of William H. Kennedy and Lillian (Delany) Kennedy. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Edward Kennedy and her sisters Mrs. Raymond Nay and Mrs. Michael Martino. She is survived by her nephews and their wives Ronald and Joyce Kennedy of East Hartford, Richard and Barbara Kennedy of Newington, William LaVigne of Longview, WA, Christopher Kennedy of Vernon, Timothy and Noel Kennedy of Enfield, her brother-in-law Michael Martino of Vernon, many dear friends and her beloved cat Chloe. Edith was formerly employed by the Hanson Whitney Co. She loved life, she loved people and everyone that knew her called her "my good friend". For over thirty-five years she has been an an avid UCONN women's basketball fan. Edith's family would like to offer a special note of thanks to the staff of Masonicare.
