LATE MRS. E. C. NICHOLSON

Mrs. Edith Charlotte Nicholson died at St. Clair's Hospital, Bunbury, on April 2, at the age of 76 years. She was a daughter of the late William Mitchell, a well-known South-West identity and an early settler; She was born in Bunbury and lived in the South-West district most of her life with the exception of twenty years in Victoria.

Previous to admittance to hospital she was living with her daughter, Mrs. E. (Isa) Summers, of Capel. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, the remains being laid in the Anglican portion of the general cemetery, the Rev. A. Fryer performing the last rites.

Chief mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. E. Simmons (correction Summers), son-in-law and daughter, Messrs C (Charles). and A. (Ashley) Nicholson, sons;
Messrs O. Mitchell, G. Mitchell, V. Mitchell and C. Mitchell, brothers ; Miss, P. Mitchell, niece and Mr. S. Mitchell, nephew. Pall bearers were Messrs F. C. Caporn, J. Simmons, J. Elliott and J. J. Hicks.
