About Edith Poteet

Edea was the daughter of Isaac Gore and Ingober Byrd. She married James Poteet son of Thomas R Poteet and Jane Taylor on December 22, 1925 in Overton Co Tenn. She was the mother of Thomas James Poteet, Ellen Byrd Poteet, Isaac Gore Poteet, Ingabor Poteet, George Poteet, and Jane L. Poteet. Her burial is unknown. We think she was buried in Poteet Cemetery in Overton Co but the cemetery was destroyed several years ago and the stones all pushed down so no one knows where the graves are anymore.
