Edith Reagan, 103, of Stoneham, died Oct. 21, 2004 ,in Sterling. Visitation is Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services are Oct. 26 at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home, with Rev. Spencer Green officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Stoneham. Mrs. Reagan was born Aug. 26, 1901, to Ralph and Elizabeth (Anderson) Bartram in Middlegrove, Ill. The family moved to Farmington, Ill., where she attended school until moving to Stoneham in 1910. She attended country school and high school in Stoneham, Sterling and Greeley. She became a teacher and taught four terms. On Dec. 25, 1922, she married Lloyd L. Reagan in Willard. They lived on a farm until 1935, when they moved to Stoneham. She was a member of the Chapel of the Plains Church in Stoneham and Royal Neighbors. Mrs. Reagan is survived by brother Ralph "Bud" Bartram, Sterling; sisters Luella Willich, Thornton, and Arlene Baggley, Fort Morgan; and grandsons Kenneth Hanawalt, Wellington, and Neil Hanawalt, Fort Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; infant son Loland Reagan; daughter Yvonne Hanawalt; and sisters Edna Sanstedt and Elizabeth Holzworth. Memorial contributions may be made to the Assembly of God Church in Stoneham.
