The Daughter of Charles Ives, the groundbreaking American composer. She is the subject of his art song "Two Little Flowers"

Mrs. Edith Ives Tyler, wife of George D. Tyler, 455 East 57th Street, NYC, died at her home Monday June 11, 1956, after an illness which had extended over four years.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Ives, the noted American composer, and Mrs. Harmony Twichell Ives of Umpawaug Hill, West Redding & NYC.

Mrs. Tyler leaves, besides her husband and mother, a son, Charles Ives Tyler.

Private services took place at the Umpawaug Hill home of her mother in West Redding. Her uncle, the Rev. Joseph Hooker Twichell of Hartford officiated. Burial was at the Umpawaug cemetery.
