The will of Edmund Freeman of Eastham, dated 09 Feb 1778 and proved 13 August 1782, names his wife Sarah; daughter-in-law Thankful Freeman, widow of his son Jonathan; his daughter Lois Snow; grandsons Edmund Snow and Abner Freeman (his executor); sons Abner and John Freeman; grandson Philip Young, and minor granddaughters Rebecca, Sarah, Hannah and Lois Freeman.[4]
