TURBOTVILLE, Pa. -- Edna A. Hostetler, 60, 700 Old State Road, Turbotville, Pa., formerly of Apple Creek, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pa.

Born Jan. 8, 1953, in Oakland, Garrett County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Dan J. and Lydia Hershberger, and married Aaron E. Hostetler on Sept. 9, 1982. He survives, and they had celebrated 31 years of marriage.

Edna was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are sisters Katie (Ezra D.) Petersheim and Elizabeth (Melvin M.) Hostetler, both of Apple Creek, and Mary (Eli T.) Hostetler of Danville; her mother-in-law, Lydia Hostetler of Turbotville, Pa.; brothers-in-law, Joe (Lydiann) Hostetler of Apple Creek, Hosea (Ada) Hostetler of Jamestown and Dannie (Rebecca) Hostetler of Watsontown, Pa.; sisters-in-law Sara and Veronica, both of Apple Creek, Ada (Sam) Byler of Turbotville, Pa., and Meriam (Toby) Byler, Watsontown, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; and a very good friend, Luella Winder of Hughesville, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, Eli Hostetler, a sister, a stillborn sister, a stillborn brother and two nephews.

Friends are invited to call today, Tuesday, at the family residence at 700 Old State Road, Turbotville, Pa., where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Montour Amish Cemetery, Wertman School Road, rural Turbotville, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Edna's memory be made to the Old Order Amish Church and can be sent to the family at 700 Old State Road, Turbotville, Pa. 17772.
