About Edna Frawley
Edna Frawley was a vaudeville and film performer in the early 20th C.
Edna Louise Bloedt was born 28 June 1893 in Chicago, Illinois. With her husband, future television star William Frawley, Bloedt began her career in vaudeville in 1914, whom she married 1 November of that year. Their comedy act, known as "Frawley and Louise," continued performing light musical comedy and dance across the country until their divorce in 1927.
Her film career was limited to short films, including four in 1916 -- Billy Van Deusen's Wedding Eve, Gay Blade's Last Scrape, Persistent Percival, and Realization -- and Ventriloquist in 1927.
She remarried in 1932 to Edwin Alfred Mueller; they divorced in 1937.
In 1961, she appeared in Frawley's episode of This Is Your Life.
She died on 11 November 1987 in San Diego, California and is buried at
Cypress View Mausoleum there.
