From Great Falls Tribune 3-17-2010: Edna (Bennett) Halley, 88, died of natural causes Monday at the Missouri River Medical Center in Fort Benton. Survivors include children Roy Halley of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Elaine Courtnage of Big Sandy, and Sharon Roudebush of Geraldine; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Halley.

FORT BENTON Edna (Bennett) Halley, 88, a former postmaster who, with her husband, ranched in Big Sandy for many years and enjoyed painting, pinochle and creating porcelain dolls, died of natural causes Monday at the Missouri River Medical Center in Fort Benton. Her memorial service is 1 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Fort Benton, with burial in Big Sandy Cemetery. Benton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include children Roy Halley of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Elaine Courtnage of Big Sandy, and Sharon Roudebush of Geraldine; 10 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.
