About Edna Magee

Edna Dawson was the daughter of Samuel Riley Dawson and Polly Ann Rogers.
Her date of birth listed on gravestone is March 12, 1805, but I believe this in an error since she had a sister, Elizabeth, born on Feb. 26, 1805.
She married James Magee circa 1827 in McNairy Co., TN.
There are conflicting reports regarding Edna's middle name; some say Ann and some say Belle.
In November 1868 a large wagon trail left Panola Co., MS for Texas.
Edna and several of her family arrived in Williamson Co., TX on 24 December 1868.
Other than the 7 children listed, James Magee & Edna Dawson also had Patrick (1828-1895), Samuel (1829-1901), Joseph (1842-1910), Martha Ann (1844-1924), and Lavernia (1846-1905).
