NEW OXFORD - Edna L. Vann Rinker, 77, of New Oxford RD 2, died Tuesday night January, 1981 at Hillview House. She was the widow of Roy C. Rinker, who died in 1959.
A daughter of the late Charles and Annie Kauffman Vann, she was born in Columbia Furnace, Va., June 13, 1903, She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Biglervilie.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth 0. Rinker, York; four sons: Austin D. Rinker, Hanover RD 5, Roy C. Rinker Jr., New Oxford RD 2, Richard L. Rinker, at home, and Gary W. Rinker. Dover: eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren: a sister. Mrs. John (Lydia) Kimble, Keyser, W.Va. and four brothers: Joseph Vann, Wyoming, Pa., and David Vann, Howard Vann and Ear] Vann, all of Edinburg, Va. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford. Her pastor, the Rev. Colin J. Shaffer, will officiate. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery.
