About Edward Nicholas Coventry Braddon
Sir Edward Nicholas Coventry Braddon, KCMG (11 June 1829 – 2 February 1904), Australian politician, was the Premier of Tasmania from 1894 to 1899, and was a Member of the First Australian Parliament in the House of Representatives. Braddon was a Tasmanian delegate to the Constitutional Conventions.
Both the suburb of Braddon in the Australian Capital Territory and the Division of Braddon in Tasmania are named after him.
