Edward Cassidy

Married March 3rd , 1868 in St.Marys RC Church ,( see picture ) Cockhill , Buncrana , Donegal to Ann ( Nancy ) Fullerton . 1870 at the time of the birth of his fist child ,Margaret he was listed as a a fisherman in Buncrana.

Working life in Glasgow spent as a Crane Operator in the Ship Building industry in Govan.

1911 Census of Ireland living in Belfast , County Antrim with son Joseph and his family.Joseph being a Foreman Plumber living at 28 Eglington Street , Court Ward in Belfast.

Edward then listed as a widower and retired at 63 years of age.

Death certificate states age as 57 at last birthday.Earlier birthdate must be closer to the truth given known marriage date ( confirmed ) .

Died at 28 Eglington Street in Belfast, son Joseph in attendance.

Buried in Milltown Cemetery 546 Falls Road in Belfast ,County Antrim in Plot 45 Section B. along with Margaret Cassidy wife of his son Joseph .
