"Edward Charles Arlington Edward Charles Arlington, 82, a former South Belmar councilman, of 1801 Briarwood Avenue, South Belmar, died last night in Fitkin Hospital. He was born in Newark, son of the late John and Alma Arlington. Mr. Arlington was a retired machinist, having been employed at the Evans Signal Laboratory during World War 2. He had lived in South Belmar since 1922. Survivng are three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Clark, West Belmar; Mrs. Edna Brewster, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Elsie Robinson, Ocean Grove; two sons, Edward R., Neptune City, and William F., Oakhurst; 16 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Belmar Methodist Church. Arrangements are in charge of the Matthews, Francioni and Taylor Funeral Home."
