Edward Thomas Curtis

There has been confusion as to whether William Henry Curtis' father was Thomas Leonard or Edward Thomas Curtis. We now have definitive documentation that there were two brothers. Thomas Leonard Curtis was born in 1861 and died in 1862 at the age of 10 weeks of "inflammation of the lungs", aka pneumonia. Edward Thomas Curtis was born in 1863 and is my great grandfather. The confusion stems from the fact that William Henry's death certificate shows his father as Thomas L. Curtis and the death certificate and memorial service program of his brother Thomas Franklin Curtis shows their father explicitly as Thomas Leonard Curtis and their mother as Sarah Ellen Cockayne Curtis. I'm not sure why the informants provided the wrong name on these documents. However, the documentation included in the "Media" definitively shows that Edward Thomas was my great grandfather. Edward Thomas migrated to Utah from the United Kingdom in September of 1875. See attached PDF in the Media on the Migration of the Curtis family.
