Edward "Eddy" Ketchum

" Eddy Ketchum lived in Crawford Co., Ohio until 1852 when he moved to Whitefield, Marshall Co,.Illinois He retired to Burton, Illinois where he lived with his son,Eliphalet. Fro a letter to Burt Ketchum from Genoa, New York, dated:---Eddy was born in 1801.Eddy's sisters were,Cylinda,Lydia,Marilla, Polly and Phidelia, but no brothers. When he was a boy he would say when he grew up he hoped he would have a lot of boys so they would not be lonely as he was without brothers". Edward is described as a tall thin man with short hair. It is also believed if one is born with Thinness, height, and blue eyes and light brown hair he takes after his Ketchum relatives.More research is needed.
