About Edward William Harris
GEDCOM Note
Edward immigrated to Nova Scotia circa 1865. He came to Canada with his brothers Henry, Jesse, and possibly Alfred and Frank. Henry later went on to British Columbia and Jesse went to Maryland in the U.S. Alfred and Frank returned to England. According to the 1881 census, he resided in Middle River (Union Centre), Pictou County, Nova Scotia. He was Wesleyan Methodist and a coal miner by trade. He also served as a counsellor on the Pictou Municipal Council.
