Edward How(e) is known to have lived in Baltimore County, Maryland, as his name can be found on land records in the areas of Upper Milford and East Lothain. There is a definite connection between the John How(e) of East Lothain and Edward How(e) of Milford. East Lothain was sold by John How(e) in 1778 to Thomas Williamson.

There were apparently 3 How(e) men of age to be land owners in Baltimore in the early 1750's. These were: Edward, John, Samuel. These are the only names on record in Baltimore County during the time that Edward was in Baltimore. One or all of these may have been relatives of Edward How(e).
