CADIZ MAN IS VICTIM OF GUNSHOT

Edward Earl Lawrence, 30, Cadiz, died at 4:45pm Monday of a gunshot wound.

Lawrence died at his home of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Trigg County Coroner John Vinson.

Services will be at 2pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Wood officiating. Burial will be in Robertson Cemetery in Trigg County.

Lawrence was a native of Trigg County, born Feb. 29, 1948. He was employed by the Kentucky Crane Co. at Hopkinsville, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Trigg County.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Faye Herndon Lawrence; his parents, Prentice E. and Annie Louis Wilson Lawrence; his grandparents, Jim Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wilson, all of this city; two stepsons, David and Mark Mitchell, both of the home; and two sisters, Pearl Wells, Eddyville, and Bettye Holt, this city.
