About Edward John Meyer

Edward John Meyer was a lithographer, who apprenticed at the shop of H. Gugler in Milwaukee. This was the first lithography shop in Milwaukee.

Edward John Mayer moved to Los Angeles in 1888, where he worked at the Schmidt Lithograph Shop, also thought to be the first such shop in the city of Los Angeles.

He moved to the Coachella Valley in 1913.
