Ed QUICK Dies At 89
Edward QUICK, lifetime resident of Jefferson County, died Saturday afternoon at the Parkview Care Center.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m., at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Interment will be in the New Sweden Lutheran Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church at 10 a.m.
Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 this evening, Monday.
Edward QUICK was born March 12, 1889, at New Sweden in Jefferson County. He was the son of John and Johanna ANDERSON QUICK. He farmed until 1941 at which time he moved to Fairfield and was employed at the Louden Machinery Co. for 14 years.
His marriage to Alma Lorene JOHNSON took place Jan. 24, 1917, at New Sweden Lutheran Parsonage. She preceded him in death Oct. 2, 1959. QUICK was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Minnie WOOD, Sylmar, Calif., and three grandchildren.
