Edward Rowley is the son of John Rowley.2 He married Lettice Clotworthy, daughter of John Clotworthy, 1st Viscount Massereene and Lady Margaret Jones.2
He lived at Castle Roe, Coleraine, County Derry, Ireland.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Londonderry from 1634 to 1635.2
