I previously have been in contact with the Weaver Family Genealogy Society and saw their records having his father as John Weaver 1776/1847 who was married to Catherine Reasoner 1773/1854.
Edward and Martha Raymer had 7 children, Horace Racio, Miles, Franklin, Gilbert, Martha Elizabeth, Marinda Bridget and Julia Cecilia. I am a decendant of Martha Elizabeth who married John Rufus Stoddard. In Edward Weaver's last will and testament on December 1, 1840 I found the possible burial place. The will reads in part: "First, I desire to be decently and privately buried in the church yard in district one in Township five south, sixth west, near Aury Brown without any funeral pomp and with as little expenses as may be." This is probably now in what they call the Stoney Point Cemetery. No grave marker has been located for Edward. The date and place of his death as recorded in the probate papers were also shown as December 2, 1842 at Pleasant Vale, Pike County, Illinois. Records show that the boundaries for the county have changed since 1842, so it is unknown where this cemetery is. Find a grave
