Edward Regis von Hedemann

Married Nora O'Toole on December 15, 1939 at Resurrection Church in Brookline (Pgh). They had two children, Marian and Jayne who were both born while they were living at Edward's parent's house at 2356 Bensonia Ave. They moved to the 743 Taylor Ave. Following a divorce in 1949, he married Ruth Gebauer Winberg in 1950 (?). They had two sons, Gary and Brian. Throughout his childhood and young adulthood, Edward suffered from asthma. As a result he was unable to serve in the armed forces. He worked from early in the 1940s until the late 70s as a trolley or bus driver in Pittsburgh. He had very good mechanical skills and was great in fixing automobiles and doing other jobs. He is remembered for caring for his mother in the last years of her life.
