About Edwin Centennial Light
Edwin C. Light, 78, who resided with his son, Frank, at 223 S. 11th Street, died yesterday in the Lebanon County Hospital of complications after a long illness. He worshipped in the EUB faith. His wife, the late Mary (Noll) Light, preceded him in death some years ago, Surviving, in addition to his son, Frank, are another son, William C., also of Lebanon; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Lux, Highbridge; a brother, Pierce Light, Reading; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Burton, Myerstown, and Mrs. Calvin Gruber, Lebanon; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon for Edwin C. Light, late of 223 S. 11th Street, from the Christman Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland Street. The Rev. Harry V. Deaven, pastor of Trinity EUB Church, officiated. Burial was made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Serving as bearers were Frank E. Light, William C. Light, Harry P. Boyer, Mark Sprecher, Luther Gruber, and Earl Gruber. Christman's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. [Lebanon Daily News, February 20, 1953, Page 10]
